Our workshops

Two days. A blank page.
A beginning.

A structured, supportive room for writers who have a story worth telling and need the discipline, company, and craft to finally begin it.

What it is.

  • A structured environment to finally start writing.
  • A small cohort of people who share the same dream.
  • Honest about the journey — the joy and the difficulty.
  • Led by builders alongside you, and guest experts in craft.

What it isn’t.

  • A masterclass in publishing mechanics.
  • A solo lecture from a self-proclaimed guru.
  • A promise that everyone will get published.
  • Built on credentials we don’t yet claim.

You don't need a manuscript, an outline, or even a fully formed idea. You just need the feeling that there's a book inside you — and the willingness to spend two days finding out what it is.

The two days, in brief

Day One

Finding the voice.

We begin with the question every book answers — and your reason for answering it. Through paired exercises, guided reflection, and honest conversation, you'll name your book, identify your reader, and build the first skeleton of your manuscript. A guest expert — a published author or experienced editor — joins us to share what separates books that resonate from those that don't.

Day Two

Bringing it to the page.

Day Two is about putting words on the page. You'll write in the room alongside your cohort, receive structured feedback on your opening pages, and build a chapter-by-chapter roadmap you can take home. You'll leave with your first chapter started, a clear plan for the rest, and a community of fellow writers who'll hold you to your word.
